We were in Gatlinburg for a Soccer Tournament at Rocky Top Sports World. House was conveniently located. We decided to take the kids & grandkids & make it a family vacation. We loved the house! Kids loved the video game & game room. We watched a movie in the theater room. We utilized the entire house. The indoor pool was great. (Temperature was an issue in many reviews.). I did reach out to management & was informed that the pool was set at 80 degrees. The pool water was NOT near 80 degrees. Thermometer located in pool read 74. That was disappointing since I did inquire about the water temperature prior to our rental. The kids got in but the adults... nay, too cold.
I would have love to have had a broom, there was only a mop & dust pan, but no broom. A drain board would have been nice to have. We did cook most of our meals so pots & pans were washed & were placed to a clean towel to dry. Also, it appears that some flatware has gone missing over time, needs more. We had 7 ppl staying there & we had 7 forks. Not a single extra fork. Should have as many as the place sleeps.
Overall, a great experience! Loved the ease of check-in & check-out. I hate to travel, we used to do so in an RV, always joked, “my suitcase is a 42’ RV” This was as pleasant! Clean & comfortable!
